What is Hypnosis? 

Hypnosis is a tool that helps us to move the busy conscious mind to the side in order to touch into the wisdom of the unconscious mind where memories, emotions, deeply embedded patterns of behavior and belief systems are stored and acted on. When the distractions of the conscious mind are put on pause, the unconscious mind is open to receive and act on positive suggestions and insights that can invoke real change toward desired goals.

What is Holistic Hypnotherapy:

Holistic Hypnotherapy incorporates additional sensorimotor modalities of healing into the hypnotherapy session to assist you in tapping into deeper states of calm, relaxation, and lower brain wave states where the subconscious mind can be worked with at a very deep level. When appropriate or desired by the client, I may integrate meditation, Yoga Asana, and Sound Healing into a Hypnotherapy session.

What is Yoga Asana and meditation? 

The discipline of Yoga has many components and teachings. Yoga Asana  and meditation (most common yoga practices in the West) are the practices of aligning breath and movement in order to narrow concentration and focus, move energetic blockages stored within the body, and tap into the parasympathetic nervous system sending signals to the body, mind, and spirit that it is safe to rest, digest, and relax. These practices support you in settling the busy conscious mind and energy within the body, allowing you to completely drop into the unconscious mind.

What is Sound Healing?

Sound has been utilized by diverse cultures for shifting awareness and inciting deep states of contemplation for thousands of years. Sound provides the platform through which our vibratory patterning and awareness shifts, and allows for healing and transformation. I utilize Tibetan and quartz crystal singing bowls, drums, chimes, the Native flute, harmonium, shakers and rattles to assist clients in slowing brain wave rhythms down and becoming more calm, less swayed by emotion, and more intuitive.
